Action and relaxation

Your home from home,
   in every season

Kloasnerhof is open all year, so you have the perfect springboard for exploring the Eisacktal Valley in every season. In spring, the blossoming apple orchards are a real spectacle. In the summertime, a wide range of walking paths, mountain bike trails and valley cycle paths (with direct access from our farm) offer plenty of outdoor opportunities, and you can head to the local pools for a refreshing dip. In autumn, the Chestnut Trail is perfect for immersing yourself in the golden landscape, before heading to a tavern and discovering the delights of Törggelen – South Tyrol’s most beloved autumn tradition. In winter, outdoor fans can look forward to a variety of winter walks, toboggan runs, snowshoeing hikes and ski tours.

At Kloasnerhof, families can share child-friendly experiences such as guided farm tours and tractor rides. And while children play away in our playground, parents can chill out on the deckchairs and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

Welcome to Kloasnerhof – your home from home in South Tyrol, all year round.

Experience Spring
Blossoming apple trees

Fresh air and fresh white petals

In spring, sudden temperature drops when the orchards are in bloom can cause serious damage. Anti-frost irrigation is most effective way to protect the trees. When cold spells strike, the delicate blossoms are watered using overhead sprinklers. As a thin layer of ice coats the blossoms, the heat released protects the plant from frost.
For farmer Gerhard, this marks the start of his yearly work in the orchard: now it’s time to tend to the trees and safeguard the precious blossoms from the dangers of early-spring frost.
