Action and relaxation

Your home from home,
   in every season

Kloasnerhof is open all year, so you have the perfect springboard for exploring the Eisacktal Valley in every season. In spring, the blossoming apple orchards are a real spectacle. In the summertime, a wide range of walking paths, mountain bike trails and valley cycle paths (with direct access from our farm) offer plenty of outdoor opportunities, and you can head to the local pools for a refreshing dip. In autumn, the Chestnut Trail is perfect for immersing yourself in the golden landscape, before heading to a tavern and discovering the delights of Törggelen – South Tyrol’s most beloved autumn tradition. In winter, outdoor fans can look forward to a variety of winter walks, toboggan runs, snowshoeing hikes and ski tours.

At Kloasnerhof, families can share child-friendly experiences such as guided farm tours and tractor rides. And while children play away in our playground, parents can chill out on the deckchairs and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

Welcome to Kloasnerhof – your home from home in South Tyrol, all year round.

Our top tips

Enjoy winter at its best

Ski resorts
South Tyrol is a coveted destination for skiers of all levels – and with good reason. From wide family-friendly slopes to nail-biting black pistes, the local ski resorts offer fun and challenges for everyone. Take your pick: Seiser Alm, Gröden, Alta Badia, Kronplatz, Karersee, Obereggen, Gitschberg‑Jochtal and Sulden am Ortler all offer modern lift facilities, excellent ski schools and welcoming huts for an indulgent energy boost.

Tobogganing
Families and groups can look forward to a range of toboggan runs. Many of them, including those in Ritten, Gsies, Meransen, and on Seiser Alm and the Kronplatz plateau, start right next to an alpine hut, with the option of hiring toboggans directly on site. Some are even floodlit, so you can enjoy tobogganing at night, too.

Snowshoeing
Vast alpine pastures, silent woods and panoramic trails – whether you head to Seiser Alm or the Villnöss, Gsieser or Schnals valleys, you’re sure to find fantastic snowshoeing tours, ranging from easy loop trails to ambitious summit climbs.

Christmas markets
In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the local markets attract visitors from near and far. Wander among stalls brimming with arts and crafts and traditional specialities, with seasonal music setting the tone in the background. The best-known markets in South Tyrol are in Bozen, Meran, Brixen, Bruneck and Sterzing.
